Clever marketing stunt sees Ubisoft game covers ‘hacked’ on the Xbox store

Well, this is certainly one of the more interesting marketing strategies in recent memory. In the build-up to the release of Watch Dogs: Legion Ubisoft have updated the game covers of some of their previous games with new hacked artwork. 

It’s certainly a creative way to market the upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion which has an October 29 release date on PC, Stadia, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

The full list of games with hacked covers is as follows:
